Underground Ritualist Den Discovered Along Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, One Suspect Burnt to Death (Graphic Photos)

A ritualists has reportedly been burnt alive after a highway sweeper discovered kidnappers den around a canal at Obadeyi Ajala, Ijaiye end of the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.

An underground ritualist den has been discovered on Tuesday around a canal at Obadeyi Ajala, Ijaiye end of the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway by a highway sweeper with the Lagos State Waste Management Agency who raised the alarm when she heard the voice of a woman calling for help from the canal.

However, the a suspected kidnapper fled from the canal before he was caught by a mob and set ablaze before the arrival of the police at the scene.

Writing on Twitter, Oluwanifemi‏ who witnessed the incident wrote using the handle @chameh89 and said: "Guys stay safe!!

Oluwanifemi‏ @chameh89 wrote: "The discovery of ritualist den popularly known as "Ajale" on the main road at Obadeyi Bus stop, Ijaiye @Gidi_Traffic."
