Here's a list of upcoming horror movies you will be dying to see.
It (Sept 8)
Early reviews, including Stephen King himself, are absolutely RAVING about the film. It is being hyped as one of the scariest films of all time. Who's ready for nightmares?!
2. Leatherface (Oct 20)
The only thing scarier than a chainsaw wielding maniac? A psycho child wielding a chainsaw. This one is the origin story of the series, telling the story of the crazed Leatherface growing up. We're in!
3. Cult of Chucky (Oct 20)
October 20th is looking like a good day for horror fans! The newest entry in the Chucky series is also being released. It's being called the craziest and bloodiest entry yet. And did we mention Jennifer Tilly is back as Tiffany?! Yes, we're SOOOOOOOO IN.
4. Jigsaw (Oct 27)
After an absolutely crazy trailer was released, I don't know how anybody couldn't be more excited for this! Before all these supernatural horror movies were ruling the box office, Jigsaw ruled it every single year on Halloween. This year, he's back to reclaim his title and he's got new and improved traps set just about everywhere...
5. The Strangers 2 (TBA 2018)

I don't know too many people who weren't pretty much traumatized by the original movie and now almost ten years later, it's back to make sure we aren't sleeping again. This one takes place in an abandoned trailer park and just typing that has already given me chills...
6. Jeepers Creepers 3 (TBA 2018)
I don't know about you but that tunnel scene from the first movie legitimately left me scarred for life. I'm probably not ready for another one but at the same time, I so am. Rumor has it they are filming the fourth one back to back which will revolve around Trish as a mother!
7. Halloween (TBA 2018)
Not too much info on this one just yet although a couple of directors are confirmed and John Carpenter is returning to produce and compose the score which is AMAZING NEWS. It's confirmed the film will open right where the second original film ended, which is also AMAZING news. Filming will most likely start this fall.
8. Happy Death Day (Oct 13)
A throwback 80's slasher?! YES PLEASEEEEE! This one comes out on Friday the 13th in October and looks like a WHOLE BUNCH OF FUN! It's by Blumhouse, the company who brought us The Purge, Get Out, The Visit, Insidious and whole lotta other hella awesome horror movies. This looks like a must see.
9. Better Watch Out (Oct 6)
There's just something about a Christmas horror film... early reviews are raving and have said it's "Home Alone meets Scream".... um, yes please. There's no trailer yet but you can find a short but sweet teaser clip online.
10. Insidious: Chapter 4 (Jan 5 2018)
They could make 20 more of these films and i wouldn't care. They are terrifyingly suspenseful and i can't get enough. This one is more of an origin story and tells the story of Elise in her youth. Look for a trailer probably closer to Halloween.
11. The Nun (Friday July 13th 2018)
Is there anything more I even need to say? Nope nope nope nope nope nope nope. (But yep)
12. What are you most excited for?
