Corp members escape death as their vehicle somersaulted multiple times in Akwa Ibom (photos)

Some corp members serving in Akwa Ibom state have survived a car accident after their vehicle somersaulted multiple times on their way back from community development programme.

One of the corp members identified as Kacci Ajike took to his Facebook page to thank God for saving his life in the terrible accident.

Ajike explained that they were all coming back from their CDs when the accident happened.

The corp member further noted that the car tumbled more than three times before it veered off into the bush.

In his post, the young corp member thanked God for saving his life and the rest of the corp members who were inside the car.

He noted that there was no scratch on his body and all the accident cost him was the one hundred naira note he used to buy painkiller.

Nigerian oil marketers refute NNPC’s claim on crash of petrol Price

Nigerian oil marketers, under the aegis of the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association (DAPPMA), have refuted the claims made by Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) on the crash of the petrol price. They argued that the corporation might have reduced petrol price at its stations because of its relative ease of assessing foreign exchange. The Executive Secretary of DAPPMA, Olufemi Adewole, told journalists yesterday that members of group were still selling petrol at N145 per litre, adding that he was not aware that the price of the product had crashed. He said, “I’m not aware the price of petrol has crashed. My people are still selling at N145 per litre.
